Membership: Marty Shively reported that we had four members pay dues in March. One was a new member and three were renewals. (Please note: Marty will be sending an updated membership list to all current members. Please watch your email for this important information.)
Silver Lake Show: Gail Bracegirdle shared that we will be having our show in June. The hanging/take down of the show as well as viewing opportunities will need to follow Covid protocols. THE PROSPECTUS FOR THIS EVENT IS ATTACHED.
Future meetings: It was decided to continue having Zoom meetings rather than in person meetings at least through June. The speaker for June will be Harry Borden, oil painter and gallery owner.
Arts and Cultural Council: Lisa McGovern, who is our liaison with the Council, has asked for each member of AOB to send her a sample of his/her art as well as a short bio so that she can share it with the Council for publicity purposes. (lisadesignsart@Gmail.com)
Puzzle Project: Many artists have submitted their finished puzzle pieces to Deborah Eater. She is assembling them and plans to have the puzzles mounted and ready for display at the Silver Lake show. Artists who still have not completed their pieces are requested to send them to her ASAP.
Following the business meeting there was an excellent presentation by Bucks County resident Jennifer Gershon, who is a fine art portrait photographer.
Agenda items: If there is anything you would like to put on the agenda for an AOB meeting please get the information to Rodney Miller (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the Friday before the meeting.
