`Muggs’ love of photography started at age 14 when his Mother gave him his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic.  He developed the 126 B&W film cartridge in a friend’s basement darkroom and fell in love with the results.

Once he discovered Ansel Adams and the Zone System he was off on a journey that continues today. Although you can expect to see almost anything in his work, Muggs almost always gravitates to the water and to his black and white roots.

Today, Muggs finds his inspiration in most anything that is beautiful, a portrait, a sunset, a film score, or a punt return.  Muggs and his wife Holly live in Southampton with their two children, Matt and Sarah.
